5 Days in Antalya: A Family Itinerary

Five days is enough to properly settle into a family resort stay while still fitting in one or two excursions that make the trip more than just pool time — here is a structure that balances both.

Days 1-2: Resort Settling-In

Keep the first two days centered on the hotel — pool, beach, kids' club if your children are young enough to use it — rather than planning an excursion immediately after travel.

Day 3: The Land of Legends or a Water Park Day

A dedicated theme park day (see our Water Parks guide) is the highest-energy, most kid-approved day of the trip for most families, and works well placed mid-stay rather than at the very start or end.

Day 4: A Lighter Cultural Half-Day

A half-day into Kaleici or a short boat trip works well as a change of pace from the resort without overloading a family with young kids — save full-day ancient ruins outings for a trip without younger children.

Day 5: Resort Wind-Down

Keep the final full day unstructured at the resort — packing, a final pool session, and avoiding the temptation to squeeze in one more excursion before a travel day.

This structure — settle in, one big excursion day, one lighter day, then wind down — keeps a 5-day family trip from feeling either too packed or too static, and works across most of the main resort districts.
