A 5-10% tip is appreciated for good service at a sit-down restaurant, especially outside your all-inclusive hotel. Many restaurants add a service charge automatically on the bill — check before tipping on top of that.
All-Inclusive Hotels
Tipping is not mandatory but is a genuine part of many resort workers' income. A modest daily amount left for housekeeping, and a tip for a bartender or waiter who has looked after you well over the stay, is customary and welcomed — cash in local currency (Turkish lira) is easiest to use.
Taxis and Transfers
Rounding up to the nearest note is common and sufficient; a large percentage tip is not expected for a short taxi ride, though private transfer drivers on longer airport routes are often tipped a small fixed amount.
Tour Guides
For a full-day guided excursion, a tip in the range of a few hundred Turkish lira per person is typical for a guide who has done a good job — this is one of the more clearly expected tipping situations in Antalya's tourism economy.
Tipping in Antalya is appreciated, not obligatory, and generally modest — carrying some small-denomination Turkish lira for restaurants, hotel staff and guides covers the situations where it matters most.
