November to March — Peak Season
Daytime temperatures sit in a comfortable 20-30C range, outdoor activities (desert safaris, beach clubs, rooftop dining) are genuinely pleasant, and this is when most visitors come — which also means the highest hotel prices of the year.
April, May, October — Shoulder Season
Temperatures climb into the low-to-mid 30sC. Still workable for a trip if you plan around the heat (mornings and evenings outdoors, midday indoors), with noticeably better prices than peak winter.
June to September — Extreme Heat
Daytime temperatures regularly exceed 40C, sometimes reaching the high 40s with high humidity. Outdoor activities become genuinely difficult; this is Dubai's off-season for a reason. Indoor attractions (malls, indoor ski, aquariums) and pool-focused hotel stays are really the only realistic option.
If price is your main constraint, shoulder season (April or October) gives a reasonable trade-off between heat and cost. If comfort matters most, stick to November-March.
