Antalya Golf Guide: Belek's Championship Courses

Why Belek, Specifically

Belek's pine forest terrain and government-backed golf tourism investment since the 1990s created a density of courses that no other Antalya district comes close to matching. If golf is a trip priority, Belek is not just the best option in the region — it is close to the only serious option.

The Courses

The best-known names: Montgomerie Maxx Royal (designed by Colin Montgomerie), Carya Golf Club (a heathland-style course through pine and eucalyptus, and the first fully floodlit course in Europe, meaning evening rounds are genuinely possible), National Golf Club (two courses, Irmak and Tuna), Gloria's two parkland courses, the Antalya Golf Club PGA Sultan Course, and Cornelia's Nick Faldo-designed course — this isn't every course in the wider region, but it covers the ones most closely tied to Belek's golf hotels.

Staying at a Golf-Focused Resort

Regnum Carya, Cornelia Diamond, Gloria Golf Resort, Titanic Deluxe Golf and Voyage Belek Golf & Spa are the resorts in our catalog carrying the golf tag — each has direct or close course access and golf-oriented guest services (equipment storage, pro shops, practice facilities). Two sit directly on their namesake course rather than just nearby: Regnum Carya is built around Carya Golf Club itself, and Gloria Golf Resort adjoins Gloria's own two courses. The others arrange access to nearby courses through transfers and green fee bookings.

Non-Golfers Traveling With Golfers

Belek's resorts are still full all-inclusive properties with beaches, pools and spas, so a non-golfing partner or family is not left with nothing to do — but the district's atmosphere is more resort-insulated and less independent-town than Side or Alanya, worth knowing before booking.

Best Time for Golf

Spring (April-May) and autumn (October-November) offer the most comfortable playing temperatures; mid-summer heat (July-August) can make a full round genuinely demanding by early afternoon.

If golf is a core reason for the trip, book a golf-tagged resort in Belek and plan rounds for early morning or shoulder-season months — for any other district, golf access will be a compromise, not a strength.
